THE DISPLAY

To help you present each notebook in a unique way, I've chosen this handcrafted wooden base made from reclaimed Colorado mountain beetle pine.

Because of the grayish-blue markings permeating it, this wood was once considered waste. While it should be noted that the nature of the beetle pine means your display block will vary from all others and may include knots or other unique markings, I can't imagine a better place for one of the stories to live in your home.

Each wood block is a beautiful reminder that, though we each have our scars, those scars and imperfections do not exempt us from the great responsibility to hold proudly the story we've been entrusted.

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.
— Leonard Cohen
