Please Say Hello

In 1991 I saw Robin Hood in the theatre eleven times. It was the summer before 8th grade and I spent it in Singapore visiting my dad. That movie was my escape and not incidentally the first time I took note of the credits.

People make these for a living? Huh.

Five years later, I left Houston for film school and dedicated the better part of the last two decades stalking my earliest career aspirations -- penning screenplays, developing TV series, directing short films and television spots, and in late-2018, Showtime acquired my feature-length directing debut, the documentary LOUD KRAZY LOVE.

Given the chance to see where the ambition born in the balcony of a Singapore movie house took him, I think Middle School Trey would be reasonably impressed -- if not quite satisfied.
